The Song of Achilles

Set in Greece during the age of heroes, the story follows Patroclus, an awkward young prince exiled to the court of King Peleus and his son, Achilles. Despite their initial differences, Achilles befriends Patroclus, and as they mature into young men skilled in war and medicine, their bond deepens. This relationship faces the disapproval of Achilles's mother, Thetis, a cruel sea goddess. When Helen of Sparta is kidnapped, Achilles must go to war in Troy to fulfil his destiny. Patroclus, torn between love and fear, accompanies him, unaware of the trials that await them.
