Gozzle

About this book

In springtime, Bear wakes up hungry and discovers a lost egg outside his cave. Instead of a meal, the egg hatches, revealing a gosling named Gozzle. Gozzle immediately believes Bear is her father and attempts to emulate his behaviours, such as climbing, digging, and eating honey. The story follows Bear's transformation from a reluctant carer into a parental figure, exploring themes of family and belonging.
