Sunrise on the Reaping

About this book

As the fiftieth annual Hunger Games approaches, twice the usual number of tributes are selected from the districts of Panem. In District 12, Haymitch Abernathy faces the grim prospect of his own selection. When his name is called, he is taken to the Capitol alongside three other tributes from his district: a close friend, an oddsmaker, and a haughty girl. Haymitch quickly realises the Games are rigged against him, but a fierce determination to fight back emerges, aiming to make an impact far beyond the deadly arena.
